Colchester United will host npower League Two side Bradford City in the first round proper of this season's FA Cup.
The U's will take on Peter Taylor's City side for the first-ever time in the competition at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on the weekend of November 6 and 7.
Colchester have a good record against Bradford and have not lost against them since February, 1982.
The U's will be hoping to progress further than last season in the competition, when they bowed out in the third round with a humiliating 7-0 defeat at Preston North End.
Colchester were the first team drawn out of the hat in this afternoon's first round draw.
