Colchester United have moved to fill the void left by Marc Tierney's shoulder injury by signing Bristol City's experienced defender Tom Williams.
The U's have signed the former Peterborough United man on an emergency month's loan from the Robins.
The 30-year-old goes straight into Colchester's squad for their trip to play MK Dons tomorrow.
