Colchester United extended their unbeaten league run to nine matches tonight with a 2-2 draw with Dagenham and Redbridge.
Bas Savage gave the Daggers an early lead but Ashley Vincent headed in Andy Bond's cross for his first goal of the season, just before the break.
David Mooney netted his fifth goal of the season from David Perkins' cross, before Romain Vincelot bravely headed in Danny Green's delivery to make it 2-2.
Vincelot needed lengthy treatment for a head injury after clashing heads with U's defender Magnus Okuonghae and was taken to hospital.
Both players needed stitches as a result but Vincelot was back at the stadium after having hospital treatment.
Mooney struck the post late on for Colchester and nine minutes of stoppage-time were added on, but the U's could not find a winner.
