Colchester United will not be making any further moves in the transfer market - for the time being at least.

U’s boss John Ward made his first two signings earlier this week with the capture of Brian Wilson and Andy Bond.

He also drafted in free agents Lloyd James and James Walker, along with Bury Town’s Ben Coker, on trial.

But Ward has confirmed that he is unlikely to add to his squad in the foreseeable future.

Ward told the Gazette: “There won’t be any more new signings for the moment."
