Aidy Boothroyd has challenged his Colchester United players to silence the Elland Road crowd this weekend.
The U’s boss takes his side to Leeds United tomorrow, in a top-of-the-table clash in Coca-Cola League One.
Boothroyd has special memories of taking on the Yorkshire club as a manager.
He led his Watford side to a stunning 3-0 victory over the Whites in the Championship play-off final at the Millennium Stadium, in 2006. Boothroyd said: “It’s a vicious crowd who are great when you’re doing well and horrible when it’s not."
