Ipswich Town recorded their fourth 1-1 draw in five games this afternoon after sharing the spoils with Reading.
The Blues took a ninth-minute lead through Jon Stead, who volleyed home after a long throw from David Wright was only partially cleared by Ivar Ingimarsson.
But Reading hit back two minutes after the break when Simon Church turned home a shot by team-mate Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Town's other chances of note fell to Tamas Priskin, while the Royals hit the woodwork twice through Brian Howard and Church.
Ipswich are now off the foot of the table, thanks to their point and the fact Peterborough lost.
