In safe hands.
U’s goalkeeper coach Ademola Bankole rates Ben Williams as the best shot-stopper in Coca-Cola League One.
Williams has been in eye-catching form for Colchester United this season.
The 27-year-old has made a big impact for the U’s since joining them from Carlisle United in the summer.
And coach Bankole views Williams as one of the best around.
He told the Gazette: “I think Ben is the best goalkeeper in the division.
“The only goalkeeper in my opinion who is close to him outside of Colchester is (Huddersfield goalkeeper) Alex Smithies.
“And I actually think we have two of the best goalkeepers in the division in Ben and Mark (Cousins).
“Mark is giving great competition to Ben – I’m happy with them both.”
