Colchester Gladiators return home on Sunday when they host the Milton Keynes City Pathfinders at the Wivenhoe Stadium.
The Gladiators opened their season with two potentially tricky away trips to Bedford and Billericay to take on the Blue Raiders and Essex Spartans.
The Gladiators performed well to record two shut-out victories, by 20-0 and 51-0 respectively.
Rich Thomas was the star of the show at Bedford.
He recorded a touchdown pass from quarterback Dan Singer, and racking up over 140 yards of total offence.
Halfback Leo Beckford ran for 213 yards and four touchdowns at the Spartans.
However, the Gladiators’ defence has been the story of the season so far.
The Gladiators have not conceded a single point so far and the Pathfinders will find the going tough as the unit tries to make it four shut-outs in a row.
The game kicks off at 2.30pm on Sunday at Wivenhoe Town’s Broad Lane ground.
