Colchester United have signed Republic of Ireland international Alan Maybury.
The 30-year-old defender, who has previously played for the likes of Leeds United and Leicester City, has committed himself to the U's until the end of the season.
Maybury, who had been a free agent and had been training with Colchester over recent weeks, will be hoping to be involved for his new side at one of his former clubs - Leeds - at Elland Road on Saturday.
