Will Boniface negotiated the windy conditions best to take both the scratch prize and trophy in Five Lakes Golf Club's President's Mid-Summer Cup.
Coming out of the pack was Mike Garwood (19), with a nett 74, beaten into fourth place on countback by Brian Ball (14), who took third.
He was beaten on countback for second by Jamie Jones (0), however, another of Five Lakes' scratch golfers, Boniface, took top honours with a remarkable gross 73.
President and sponsor of the event, Alan Riches, managed the only birdie two prize on the eighth hole.
