Gigawave MotorSport's excellent start to the FIA GT Championship continued with a top-six finish and three more points.
In extreme heat and deteriorating light conditions, drivers Philipp Peter and Allan Simonsen brought the team's Aston Martin DBR9 home in sixth place, making it the only car of its marque to finish.
This was despite the car carrying 40kg of handicap weight.
Team Principal Fenton Yeulett said: "I'm delighted with the result after racing in such arduous conditions and pleased that our weight penalty has now been reduced.
"Our pit stops were once again faultless, which aided our race strategy."
Driver Philipp Peter, who started and finished the race, said the conditions were challenging.
"The first stint was extremely hard because of the heat and I had a problem with my water bottle, so I was getting dehydrated," he said. "The car felt very lazy when cornering due to our extra ballast, so we're pretty happy to pick up more points."
