HANNAH Stodel continued to find top form at the Semaine Olympique Francaise regatta in Hyéres in France as she sealed a gold medal in the Sonar Class with a day's racing still to go.
The Mersea sailor, together with skipper John Robertson and Stephen Taylor, secured two more first-place finishes on day five of the regatta to take their tally of wins to eight from nine races to completely eclipse the opposition in the class.
Meanwhile, fellow Mersea sailor Saskia Clark was still struggling to make an impact on the top end of the leaderboard in the women's 470 Class.
With skipper Christina Bassadone, Clark headed into the final day of competition in eighth place.
