Following the cancellation of their latest boat match, Braintree Sea Angling Club organised a match on Walton Pier.
It took place in conjunction with a freshwater club from Sandy, in Bedfordshire.
Barrie Senior won the match with 23 fish for 284 points, equivalent weight of 5lb 141/2oz.
Chris Leonard was the second Braintree angler and third in the match with 15 fish for 171 points, equal to 3lb 9oz.
Brian Grundy had the third highest score for Braintree with 12 fish and 136 points, equal to 2lb 13oz.
