Phil Ifil is available for Colchester United's clash with Norwich City on Saturday after the club successfully won their appeal against his red card against Hull City.
The young defender was sent off against the Tigers and faced a three-match ban.
However, the U's have successfully appealed against the decision and he will now be available for the trip to Carrow Road.
Manager Geraint Williams said: "There's a big thing going on at the moment about frivolous appeals and the first thing we had to make sure of is that he would not get an extra game on top if we appealed.
"We asked the assessor if he thought it would be a frivolous appeal and he didn't think it would be.
"We are delighted that this decision has been corrected."
