WE must stick together.
Colchester United winger Kevin McLeod issued a rallying cry to his team-mates, as the U's head into Christmas bottom of the Coca-Cola Championship table.
The 2-1 defeat at fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers has plunged Geraint Williams' side deeper into the relegation mire.
And ahead of the Boxing Day clash with Southampton - the first of two successive fixtures at Layer Road - McLeod has called for unity in the ranks.
He told the Gazette: "We have to stick together now.
"We have to stand up and be counted and help the gaffer out as much as we can to get out of this situation.
"We're bottom of the table but we have to keep playing like we did in the second half and take that into our next game.
"If we can take what we did in the second half against QPR into the game on Boxing Day, I don't see why we can't get a result."
