Russell Tanner is backing his Maldon Town troops to bounce back in style after their crazy' 5-1 defeat at AFC Sudbury.
The Park Drive side entertain second-placed Dartford tomorrow and Tanner is promising a positive reaction, after shipping four second-half goals last Saturday.
He told the Gazette: "We need to come back strongly and I can assure everyone that will happen.
"We experienced 20 minutes of madness last weekend, having gone in at half-time level, and conceded four goals to lose 5-1.
"Myself and the players had a good chat about the situation after the game and then again at training on Tuesday.
"The most important thing is not to panic and over-react - we're still a very good side and we didn't become a bad one overnight.
"What happened last weekend won't happen again - I know that and the players know that.
"They understand the situation and they're a good, honest and hard-working bunch of lads."
