COLCHESTER United skipper Karl Duguid is expected to be fit for Saturday's trip to Queens Park Rangers.

The U's defender missed the club's 1-1 draw with Norwich City last weekend because of an ankle injury.

Fellow defender Bela Balogh is also pushing for a first-team recall after returning to action in the reserves side on Tuesday.

The Hungarian has been out of action since being stretchered off during Colchester's 1-0 defeat at Wolves last month.

However, midfielder Kevin Watson is still out with a calf tear.

And goalkeeper Aidan Davison is set to undergo an injection today on the troublesome shoulder injury which has sidelined him for six weeks.
