Colchester United supporters will get another chance to buy the club's new home kit for a cheaper price today.

The U's new-look strip went on sale in the Club Shop yesterday.

And to give supporters maximum opportunity to get their hands on the shirts ahead of the club's opening match of the season at Bramall Lane, the shop will operate extended opening hours of 9am to 7pm today.

The U's link-up with new sponsors haart and Spicer McColl estate agencies means fans can purchase this year's shirt at a knockdown price today.

Supporters who take their old U's shirts from any previous season to the Club Shop will be given a £10 discount off the new home shirts, branded with the estate agencies' logos, while their old shirts will be given away to charity.

The old shirts will be sent to the Three Valleys Water KitAid charity, who will distribute the shirts to communities in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
