A Dragon Martial Arts School student kicked up a storm as she represented Great Britain at the World Kuoshu Championships.
Sara Healy, from Clacton, picked up three golds and one bronze medal during the event, which was held in Maryland in the United States.
The 23-year-old, pictured, was selected to represent Great Britain at the tournament after winning the Second World Kuoshu Championships, which were held in Singapore in November.
Keith Dwan, chief instructor of Dragon Martial Arts School, said: "There were more than 1,000 participants taking part in Chinese fighting and forms events at this prestigious competition.
"Sara entered three fighting categories and one forms category.
"From this she picked up an amazing tally of four medals.
"She picked up medals in different sections of the competition, which means she is now world champion in both fighting and forming which is a rare achievement."
Healy gained gold medals in the full contact fighting (lei tai), Chinese wrestling (shuai jiao) and the internal open-hand forms, where she performed a Hsing-I form.
The bronze medal was awarded for semi-contact fighting (qingda).
Healy is now gearing up for the British Nationals competition, which will be held in Milton Keynes in September, before competing in Germany at the Third World Kuoshu Championships in 2009.
