Colchester United will take a full first-team squad to Blue Square Premier club Cambridge United tonight.
It is the U's second pre-season friendly of the summer.
Geraint Williams is likely to give all of his players a run-out, although Colchester also play Ryman League premier division outfit Chelmsford City in another friendly at Melbourne Park tomorrow night.
Colchester will check on Mark Yeates, Teddy Sheringham and Kevin Watson ahead of tonight's game at the Abbey Stadium.
Yeates (thigh) missed out on playing against Heybridge as a precautionary measure, while Watson was taken off a few minutes before the end of the match at Scraley Road because of a slight Achilles injury.
Meanwhile, Sheringham has had a scan on his calf but is expected to make his U's debut in the next few days.
Williams said: "We have to take the precaution and Teddy will know when he's right.
"It's nothing major but he's the same as anyone else in the squad as far as fitness is concerned."
