A GROUP of Colchester Swimming Club's Masters swimmers finished second overall at the Sudbury Valentine Meet.
Katie Holmes, Val Standage, Simon Emm, Jason Cole and Rob Milburn built on success from last year, recording some excellent individual performances.
Holmes was the swimmer of the meet after securing four first places overall and a further six first and one second place in her age category.
Standage managed five age category first places while in the men’s events, Emm was the best placed Colchester swimmer after posting two overall first places and a further five age category places.
Cole recorded good times in all his events, managing three creditable third places, while Milburn managed one overall first place and a further four first, along with a third-place finish in his age category.
