STANWAY ROVERS kept up the pressure on Thurlow Nunn League leaders Norwich United with a 2-1 victory at Ipswich Wanderers tonight.
Angelo Harrop's side were two-up at half-time before the hosts pulled one back after the break.
Stanway then had a penalty saved but they held on for a precious victory.
Rovers are 12 points behind Norwich but have a game in hand and entertain the Norfolk side on the final day of the season, at The Hawthorns.
