Fabian Wilnis has revealed his determination to win a new contract at Ipswich Town.
The Dutchman becomes a free agent in the summer when his current one-year deal expires.
However, the full-back - the second longest-serving player on the club's books - has no plans to hang up his boots or move on just yet.
Instead, he wants to earn another year-long deal and told the Gazette: "I've made it clear I really want to stay at Ipswich.
"I love the club and have been very happy here for a number of years, and my family are also settled in the area.
"Hopefully I can do enough to get another contract but if that option isn't open to me I'll have to look at playing elsewhere, ideally staying in the Championship.
