Maldon and Tiptree fell to a 4-2 defeat at Needham Market.

The home side took an early lead in their Ryman One North encounter on Tuesday night as Keiran Morphew fired home on three minutes.

Oliver Fenn then doubled Needham’s advantage 17 minutes later.

But on 22 minutes, Maldon were back in the game through a Samuel Nunn own goal.

The Jammers were back on level terms when Tunde Adewumni equalised on 27 minutes.

But parity only lasted for two minutes as Morphew fired in to make it 3-2 for the home side.

Luke Ingram then wrapped the game up making it 4-2 on 83 minutes.

Heybridge Swifts also lost by a 4-2 score-line against visiting Harlow Town.

After a goal-less first 45 minutes it was bad start to the second half for Swifts.

Aaron Gayle was sent off for the home side on 51 minutes and then Harlow took the lead through David Cowley a minute later Cowley then doubled the lead for the visitors on 56 minutes.

But Swifts pulled themselves back into the game through Reece Morgan two minutes later.

And Billy Hunt then popped up with an equaliser on 71 minutes.

But Harlow edged back in front thanks to Jared Small ten minutes later before Alex Read made it 4-2 on 86 minutes.
