FC CLACTON manager Glenn Eldridge is ready to “unleash” new Polish signing Bartlomiej Włodarski.
The 19-year-old, who started his career with Legia Warsaw, could make his debut in tonight’s Essex Senior Cup second-round tie at home to Waltham Forest.
Włodarski, known as “Barry” by his team-mates, recently moved to the area and has already made a big impression during his short time at the Rush Green Bowl.
He played for the club’s reserves in Saturday’s thumping 8-1 win at Bradfield Rovers.
“He looks very sharp in training and I’m really looking forward to unleashing him tonight,” said Eldridge.
“He plays out wide, on the left or right, and has great, quick feet.
“We’ve been really impressed with him in training and he certainly hasn’t looked out of place.
“He’s super-fit and runs five miles a day, so could be a real find.
“We need to see how he does in a game but there’s certainly a big buzz around him in the town.”
