Clacton Rugby Club are ready to sail uncharted waters.
The club are set for their first-ever London League division three north east fixture when Harlow pay a visit on Saturday.
It will be the Seasiders’ first game at this level, after gaining promotion following their play-off victory at Newmarket in April.
And coach Matt Mahoney says that his players are ready for the challenge.
“It’s unknown territory and it’ll be good to get a few games under our belt, to see what we’re up against,” he said.
“But I think we’ll do OK. It’s a new experience and they’re really excited by the challenge."
