Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire has done what he said he would and strengthened his squad with a new signing.
Devonshire told the Braintree and Witham Times earlier this week that he expected to add a new player and has today signed Simeon Akinola for an undisclosed fee from Ryman League premier division side Harrow Borough.
The 22-year old forward started his youth career in Madrid in spain before coming to the UK and can play as either a striker or a winger.
He has also played at Boreham Wood and two years with Earlsmead.
Devonshire told the club website: "A great acquisition to the squad, Simeon gives us something different up front.
"I've watched him a few times and he has great potential."
