WIVENHOE TOWN and FC CLACTON are gearing up for a proverbial six-pointer that could go a long way to determining their relegation fate.
The neighbours are locked in a battle at the foot of the Thurlow Nunn League premier division, desperate to climb away from the trapdoor.
Wivenhoe are second from bottom, with 13 points from their 26 games.
Clacton are two places above, with 17 from their 22 fixtures.
They have played the fewest games in the division, along with Tendring rivals Brightlingsea Regent.
