HEYBRIDGE Swifts have appointed Jody Brown as their new first-team manager.
The club have been on the look-out for a new boss since Mark Hawkes departed for Chelmsford City.
Brown was officially unveiled at 8.30am today.
The former Tiptree United and Halstead Town boss has been patiently waiting for the right opportunity to come along since leaving Maldon & Tiptree - where he was assistant manager to Terry Spillane - last summer.
Wayne Bond, who had taken temporary charge, now reverts to his role as director of football at Scraley Road.
