Residents on a housing estate need the public’s help to win funding for a sensory community garden.
Greenfields Community Housing is building the garden on the Humber Road estate, Witham, after residents called for flowerbeds to brighten up the area.
The housing association has applied for £25,000 from the Big Lottery-funded Jubilee People’s Millions Project, but will only receive the cash if enough people vote for the project.
People can only vote on June 28, from 9am to midnight.
The number will only be released on that day, and will be available online at www.GreenfieldsCH.org.uk and www.peoplesmillions.org.uk.
The project and phone number will also be featured in the Daily Mirror and on Anglia News at 6pm.
