A MCDONALD’S employee has celebrated her 20th anniversary working at the restaurant in Maldon.

Angie Archer began her career at the fast food restaurant in Fullbridge working on the tills, progressing through the ranks to become a Customer Care Manager.

Angie has become well known and loved in the restaurant, having made many friends and carried no regrets, and celebrated her 20th anniversary in November.

Angie said: “Ever since I joined the McDonald’s team 20 years ago, I have never looked back.

“I love working with the team here; there is a great sense of team work and we all have a lot of fun together.

“I love helping out customers and it’s always nice to see a familiar face, I’ve made lots of friends through my role here over the years.”

Franchisee Cherry Lewis-Taylor, who owns and operates four restaurants across Essex including the Maldon restaurant, said: “Angie is a much-loved employee at the restaurant and is very popular with fellow crew members and regular customers alike.

“She is such a highly valued member of our team and has such a commitment to helping customers.

“I am thrilled to have an employee like Angie working in one of my restaurants and admire her dedication and the positive effect she has on everyone.

“I want to thank her personally for her hard work over the past 20 years.”
