OVERNIGHT closures are set to begin this evening for two weeks on Wycke Hill in Maldon.
The closures are planned on the A414 Maldon Road/Wycke Hill in Maldon from tonight for approximately two weeks to support works being undertaken on behalf of the Linden Homes.
The roadworks involve carriageway surfacing, drainage and diversion of utility supplies to support the new development.
Closures will be effective Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9pm and 5am from Lodge Road to the west of the Limebrook Way Roundabout (Morrisons roundabout).
Advance warning signs will be in place and motorists will be diverted via - B1010 Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road, Barons Lane, Fambridge Road, B1018 Limebrook Way and vice versa.
Access arrangements will be in place for emergency services and residents within the closed section of road.
Works are weather dependent and may be subject to change at short notice.
