A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on Burnham Road, near Latchingdon.
Two vehicles were involved in a crash this morning, shortly before 10am, which left a woman in need of treatment from paramedics.
The East of England Ambulance Service responded to the situation, sending a rapid response vehicle and an air ambulance from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust.
A spokesman for the service said: “We responded to reports of a two vehicle crash on Burnham Road, near Latchingdon.
“There were two people involved from separate vehicles. We treated a woman believed to be in her 20’s suffering from severe neck pain.
“She was conscious and breathing, and has been airlifted to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment, but is believed to be in a stable condition.”
