Although winds were light throughout the weekend, racing was intense with results going right down to the wire in many classes during Burnham Week, which kicked off on Saturday 29.
And regardless of Monday’s downpour, plenty of residents refused to let the rain dampen spirits during the on-shore activities during Quay Day.
Event organiser Paula Stanbury, said: “Even though there was terrible rain it was lovely to see residents brave their umbrellas and come out regardless."
She added that the town cup will be presented this Saturday (5) alongside a firework display at dusk which can be viewed from the quay.
