HUNDREDS of people gathered at Stowe Maries Great War Aerodrome to mark the annual Armed Forces Day on Saturday.
The event began with a flag raising ceremony at 11am and finished at about 3pm with a flypast by a Battle of Britain Spitfire.
Throughout the day there were displays of military vehciles, guided tours of the site, and other airside activities.
Children also got to play in scale models of iconic wartime craft.
