Plenty of bargains can be had as Maldon library has a clear out.
The library is holding a booksale until the end of January, where everything from travel books, gripping novels, children’s books and DVDs will be available.
The library will be selling off travel books that are a few years old as it tries to keep the guides it stocks as up-to-date as possible.
Books that have been on loan a number of times and are starting to look worn will also be among those for sale as the library continues to update its stock.
Deputy library supervisor Bridget Keyes said: “It’s some of the old stock that we have put into the booksale.
“There are dozens of items, something to suit everyone.”
The library, in White Horse Lane, is open fom 9am - 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
On Saturday it opens from 9am - 5pm.
