The South Woodham Coastguard Rescue Team were called to assist with a broken down yacht.
Along with the West Mersea RNLI Inshore Lifeboat, the team were tasked to the 26ft yacht Impulse, which had two people on board, just after 3.30pm yesterday.
It had broken down and was at anchor off Osea Island in the River Blackwater.
It was towed to Bradwell Marina by the lifeboat and met and assisted by the coastguard who passed safety advice.
