RESIDENTS are being invited to a tea party to celebrate English Tourism Week.
People are being encouraged to hop on a train and visit Wrabness on Sunday, March 25 for a guided walk followed by a tea party.
The event, organised by Essex and Suffolk Community Rail Partnership, begins at 2pm for a guided walk, which will last an hour and will pass by Grayson Perry’s eye-catching ‘A House for Essex’.
The walk will be followed by a tea party at the Wrabness Community Café where, on production of your valid train ticket, you can claim a free tea or coffee and homemade cakes.
Jayne Sumner, rail engagement manager at Essex County Council, said: “We want to celebrate English Tourism Week and show everyone what this beautiful part of Essex has to offer.”
