LIFEBOAT crews towed a 26ft yacht safely into harbour after it became stranded.
A crew manning Harwich’s inshore lifeboat were on hand to accompany the yacht into Harwich Harbour, after it suffered engine failure on Monday afternoon.
It was left stranded half a mile east of Orford Ness with one person on board.
Aldeburgh’s all-weather lifeboat towed the yacht to the harbour entrance, where it was accompanied to a safe mooring at Shotley Marina.
