BUDDING artist Molly Nichols is front page news after her picture was chosen to feature on the cover of this year’s Tendring Show programme.
Organisers were thrilled when more than 2,000 youngsters entered a contest to design the front cover.
They had to show farming “then and now” to mark the show’s centenary.
Show president Jim Macaulay and wife Pip had the difficult task of choosing a winner, but eventually gave the award to eight-year-old Molly, of Lawford Primary School.
Her original design and 30 runners-up will be on display in the huge education marquee, which houses exhibits from more than 40 schools and nurseries in the area, and is among the many attractions at the July 11 show.
Programmes will be on sale on the day.
