YOUNG and emerging artists are being given a chance to create work for a special exhibition at this year's Harwich Festival of the Arts.
Artist Andrew Howell is looking for artwork from youngsters in and around the area to show in the 1912 Centre in Cow Lane, Harwich as part of the annual Harwich Festival of the Arts event from June 24 to July 5.
Harwich will play host to a range of art mediums throughout the renowned festival, which includes performance and music, but the display at the 1912 Centre is set to be around the theme of Eastern Light.
Festival organisers are also on the look out for artists to submit work for the main exhibition at the Old Bank Studios.
Eastern Light can also be used for inspiration for this work.
Submissions will be welcome from artists of all age groups and media and will be accepted until May 1.
To apply to be in the exhibition visit The Harwich Festival of the Arts website at www.Harwich festival.co.uk
