PEOPLE can examine plans for a huge development which could see 500 homes built between Mistley and Lawford.

Property specialist Strutt and Parker is hosting a follow-up public exhibition next week to discuss a proposed complex between Long Road and Clacton Road in Mistley.

At a previous exhibition in December, the company’s proposals were criticised by residents who fear the area could not cope with more people.

The developers had five options for the site on offer for the public to comment on, which included plans for 220 homes at the lower end of the scale, and 500 at the highest.

The next exhibition will be held at Mistley village hall, in Shrublands Road, on Tuesday, from 3pm to 7.30pm.

People will have the opportunity to speak to specialist consultants and give their verdict on the plans.
