A CAMPAIGN group has called for residents to be given more time to comment on a huge planning application that could see 320 homes built in a village.
St Francis Group wants to build the homes on greenfield land in Brantham.
The plans also include a designation of large open space, employment land and land for community uses.
Villagers have been given until just April 21 to lodge representations.
But Brantham Hogs – Hands Off our Greenfield Space–and Brantham Parish Council have asked Babergh Council to consider extending the time limit.
Hogs chairman Alex Toms said: “One issue of the time limit they have given is the number of documents – there are at least 136 different folders of information.”
