FRUSTRATED campaigners have planned their next big protest at the closure of Harwich’s maternity unit.
Residents are being called on to attend a twilight vigil outside the Fryatt Hospital, in Main Road, Dovercourt, at 7pm next Friday.
Protesters will hold torches and candles and sing lullabies between 7pm and 8pm in a bid to force health bosses to take note of their outrage.
Jenny Semple, one of the organisers, said: “They aren’t listening, so we said we will keep having events.
“Adults will have candles and children will have torches.
“We will hold hands on the path outside the hospital and sing lullabies with the placards and posters.”
