A woman is looking for donations to help a dog charity.
Anna Parkes, 21, of Earls Colne, is looking for any dog items such as leads, harnessess, collars, toys, bedding and bowls to help rescue dogs in Spain.
Charity the Asociacion De Animales De Berja is in desperate need for the items.
The dog walker for Pawsome Petcare said: “A family friend who moved to Spain a number of years ago made me aware of the charity.
“Being an avid animal enthusiast I was keen to see the first hand the work they undertake.
“In March 2013 I spent a week helping the charity.
“The work varied greatly from removing ticks from stray dogs to helping out with a table top sale to raise money for the upkeep of the animals within their care.
“Whilst being there it was apparent that the people running the charity adored these animals and were doing their very best just to make sure each individual was well cared for.
“Unable to rehome another dog I was desperate to help them however which way I could.”
She is arranging for items to be sent out to the charity.
