A man has completed his 500 mile bike ride to raise money for a children’s cancer charity.
Nic Clouting, 33, of Highfields, Great Yeldham, cycled from Carlisle Castle to Halstead in just five days.
The sandblaster was inspired after hearing of Lilly-Mae Brewster’s story.
The four-year-old, also of Great Yeldham, was diagnosed with leukaemia in January.
Mr Clouting’s cousin’s six-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with cancer as well.
He in unsure of how much money he has currently raised, but is hoping to reach £5,000 for charity Children with Cancer.
“The ride went really, really well, apart from the rain,” he said.
“It was good and I didn’t have any punctures or anything.
“I did come off twice when the road was slippery though.”
