A memorial football match is taking place in Halstead next weekend.
The match, next Saturday at Halstead Football Club, is raising money for changing rooms built in memory of a youngster who died suddenly whilst playing football.
Adam Brandon, from Panfield, near Braintree, died suddenly aged just 14 in February 2004.
In his memory, the football team from the local pub, The Panfield Bell, where his brother still plays, raised the £16,000 to build new changing rooms in 2006.
They are now fundraising for the upkeep of the changing rooms.
The team will take on Great Bardfield with kick-off at 2.30pm.
Entrance is £2 per person, payable on the day.
