PARENTS got the chance to see what a nursery has to offer in a special Easter-themed open day.
Doors to the nursery at Willow Brook Primary School in Colchester were opened for visitors and parents who already send their youngsters there for an early Easter celebration.
Business manager Sam Cooper said: "We wanted to show parents who are thinking about children here what we are all about, and also do something nice and positive for the community.
"Hopefully we have got the message out there we do have some spaces free, but also say thank you to the parents we already have.
"We had all sorts of Easter fun despite the wet weather including a treasure hunt where the children had to find the letters in the words hot cross buns, lots of cutting and sticking, and working with sand and clay.
"Parents could also see the designs we have for improving the Early Years outside area, which we are hoping will be done in the summer term."
