UPDATED: Multi-car crash blocks part of busy road
The scene of a five car crash has now been cleared.
The crash happened at the junction of Tye Road and Clacton Road in Elmstead Market at 7.30am today.
Both carriageways of the busy Clacton Road were partially blocked as the emergency services worked to help those involved.
The scene has now been cleared and traffic is flowing freely.
