FACEBOOKERS helped to reunite a couple with their lost wedding photos after police appealed for help to trace them on the social network site.
Essex Police appealed for help returning a memory card, which included pictures of a wedding and a family holiday, to the couple after it was handed in at Clacton police station.
The post was shared 1,400 times on Friday and the couple – Rikki and Chelsey Elliott – were traced in less than 45 minutes.
Friends of the couple recognised them in the photos and ‘tagged’ them in the post.
Chelsey posted: “Thank u so much everyone who has messaged me about this!
“Incredibly kind of u all. People I don't even know too! Very touched by your kindness xxx.”
